LifeFest 2019
The LifeFest is a fun, family-friendly festival that promotes LifePlan and points people to Jesus.
On July 13, 2019, LifePlan held its first LifeFest at Riverfront Park in Niles. It is estimated that between 500-700 people attended this event.
The day began with a Life Rally that included client testimonies, LifePlan updates, and a time of prayer for life, families, and the community. The rest of the day included activities such as inflatables, a water slide, carnival games, face painting, 9-square-in-the-air, and Simon Says. The Niles-Buchanan YMCA also provided 20 minute fitness classes throughout the day and The Salvation Army served hot dogs, bottled water, and chips to those who attended. Seven different area churches provided activities and volunteers to help make the day a success!
“Lots of fun in Niles! Thank you LifeFest!”
The goal of the LifeFest is to point people to Jesus – the one who is the Hope in a Hope-filled life. LifeFest volunteers looked for opportunities to share the love of Jesus with those who attended throughout the day. In addition, there was a Gospel presentation by Aaron Krause of Word of Life Fellowship at noon and Gospel tracts were distributed to both children and adults.
It is our prayer that the LifeFest will continue to grow and that seeds will be planted in the lives of those who attend. Please pray for the impact of LifeFest 2019 and for the future impact of LifeFest 2020!
